New OpenLDAP RPM's, autoconf'ed LdapNS

18 Jan 99 Theres a new ldapns development snapshot, available through the FTP and CVS server. The main modification is to the build procedure, changing from static makefiles to an autoconf style build procedure. It is working great under RedHat Linux, with both the OpenLDAP libraries and the Mozilla SDK. The newest version of openldap (1.1.2) has been packaged up as RPM.

Usefull NSS_LDAP Module

31 May 98

Just put up the new nss_ldap snapshot in the usual place. This is the first truly usefull version; it fully implements all host, passwd, group, service, protocol, and network calls. It also features a more streamlined build procedure and some test facilities. Give it a spin. Some of the things left to do in it include testing/fixing the other calls (aliases, rpcs, ethers) and adding in autoconf support.
